The NEM Open Forum will also meet at the NEM Summit for the 2nd year in a row! The NEM Open Forum aims at extending the participation and involvement of researchers and experts in the NEM community for all those who belong to different constituencies (Universities, Associations, Technology Centers, Industries, users, etc.) and who may express opinions and views based on their individual knowledge. The aim is to collect views and opinions from individuals, who would complement NEM regular views. The NEM Open Forum represents an attractive opportunity for many researchers interested in the NEM activities but who cannot follow regularly the NEM regular debates (Vision, Strategic Research Agenda, position papers, Activities, Clusters, etc.). The NEM Open Forum is a think tank anticipating ideas, views, and expressing comments about how NEM, Networked Media and the new super-sector (as called by sectoral Associations to the Media sector) are running. This Forum is supported by senior experts (mostly those working in NEM Institutions), with strategic profiles and researcher profiles, whose opinions are sought as a complement to other corporate or R&D Institutions positions and visions. The NEM Open Forum usually focuses on a limited set of themes which are relevant for the Europe's Future in the Networked Media:
